You’re one step away. Choose a time that works for you, and the rest of the intake process handles itself automatically, including insurance verification, intake forms, platform navigation, and office policies.
Not sure if this is the right fit? Most people feel that way before their first session. The first appointment is a real conversation, not a commitment to a program.
Insurance
I currently accept the following insurance plans:
- BlueCross BlueShield
- United Healthcare
- UMR
- Aetna
- Meritain
- Baylor Scott & White
Coverage for nutrition counseling varies by plan. After you schedule, my process includes an automatic insurance benefits check, so you know what to expect before your first appointment.
If you have BlueCross BlueShield of Michigan: Despite BCBS of Michigan listing nutrition counseling as a covered service, your plan restricts coverage to services performed by a physician. This means I’m unable to bill your insurance even if a customer service representative confirms coverage. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, feel free to reach out before scheduling.
What Happens After You Book
Once you schedule, you’ll receive intake forms, insurance information, and office policies automatically. There’s nothing you need to do in the meantime except provide the requested information and then show up for your first appointment.
If you have questions before your first session, you can reach me at 214-621-0584 or Jennifer@GoYouNutrition.com.
